POLICE LOG for October 23 Wilmington Man Arrested For OUI Crashed Into

first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, October 23, 2018:Concrete was found on Salem Street, near the Harnden Tavern. Police contacted Benevento’s, believing it likely fell off of one of its trucks. Company sent an employee to handle. (1:49am)Police received two calls regarding a deceased owl in the middle of Route 125. Police moved bird to side of road and notified Animal Control Officer. (2:50am)Zachary Norton (24, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Marked Lanes Violation. Norton’s vehicle struck a tree on Woburn Street. Property damage occurred to two yards. (4:39am)Jesse Jay Leverone (25, Chelmsford) was arrested for Larceny Under $1200 (x2); Malicious Destruction Of Property Under $1200 (x2); and Assault & Battery. A caller on McDonald road claimed two males just jumped him and ran off with his keys. Suspect ran off towards new construction. Caller unsure if they left. Police responded and found two vehicles with tires slashed and took Leverone into custody. [No further details provided.] (9:43am)Police assisted the Fire Department with a tree that fell into a house on Ohio Street. No injuries reported.
