Miguel Daniels and Alension JosephEighteen-year-old Miguel Daniels and his 20-year-old accomplice Alension Joseph, both miners, were on Friday arraigned before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan to answer a charge of robbery-under-arms.The charge stated that on March 28, 2019, at Balata Backdam, Mazaruni River, Region Seven, (Cuyuni-Mazaruni), while in the company of others and armed with a knife, they robbed Andre Francis of 2.2 penny weight of raw gold, a gold scale and quarter bottle of silver, all at a total cost of $82,000.The unrepresented duo admitted to the offence, and Police Prosecutor Gordon Mansfield told the court that on March 28, the virtual complainant had “washed down” his dredge and reported a production of 2.2 pennyweight of raw gold. However, at about 23:42h, the VC was asleep when he was awakened and confronted by the two men, who attacked him. The VC tried to resist, but was overpowered, and Daniels and Joseph picked up the bag containing the items and made good their escape. The matter was reported to the Kamarang Police Station, an investigation was launched, and the duo were arrested. They admitted to the offence and were later charged. In a plea of mitigation, both defendants told the Chief Magistrate that they had mistaken the VC for someone else who had stolen money from them, and they were acting to get it back. The Chief Magistrate fined both Daniels and Joseph $7000 each. Failure to pay the fine would result in either serving three months’ imprisonment.
MARIAN Fashion Synthetic Hair Style Short Bob Wig : Feels like doll hair really tangles quickly don’t get me started
This is better than i thought it would be. This is better than i thought it would be. It came with two wig caps and it is very natural looking, i love it. Fantastic price for the quality. . I received my item very quick from the seller and the item came packaged well in a box. Inside the box the wig lay in a net inside a sort of zip lock bag. Which is fairly normally as any wigs i get are exactly the same. On opening the wig i noticed it was in very good condition and not damaged in anyway. The wig is a nice style and shaped precisely, the only negative thing i can say about this particular wig is it seemed shorter on my head but i think that’s because i have a big head and and the fringe is very overwhelming for me. Just because its made to be a full fringe that sweeps to the side. You might need to tame it a little so it can settle to the side instead of being more over the eye. Of course you can also change the style- you don’t need to have a side fringe you can have a middle part so to speak. The style is very nice and this wig really represents a graduated bob very well and looks very realistic. Was much better than i expected. Was much better than i expected, fits to my head size with adjustable straps unfortunately i have a rather small head and left fabric bowling out at the back of my head. Fringe sits nicely and keeps it shape well. But overall a really nice wig. Slightly big on my head and the front is really thick – so will need to do a bit of cutting, but overall a really nice wig. Fantastic price for the quality.Wow – Impressed!was much better than i expectedFeels like doll hair really tangles quickly don’t get me started This is better than I thought it would beGreat buy, great price, great deliveryMARIAN Fashion Synthetic Hair Style Short Bob Wig for Women Jet Black+ A Free Wig CapTrueLife Heat-Friendly Synthetic Hair – Ready-to-wear, pre-styled and designed to look and feel like natural hair, it can be styled with heat tools.Short straight bob wig for women; you may need to style it a bit by yourself or your stylist, because every wig is styled by hand, it can’t be assured that every wig is 100% same as picture shows. Great when i worked out which way it went. Feels like doll hair really tangles quickly don’t get me started. Feels like doll hair really tangles quickly don’t get me started on the shedding but looks beautiful on. I did get a lot of compliments. I made a full fringe on mi e so cuts well doesn’t hold a curl very well. It’s okay but not for everyday. Especially if you are going to be out and about or dancing. Sit down meal yes cuz your head winter be moving much lol. Amazing, even better than i expected. Just received item today and have to say i concur with all the other reviews. Its lovely and soft, the cut/style very modern looks great on and feels fabulous on. The colour is true jet black, and looks like my hair if it was chemically processed/ or heat treated. I definitely recommend this to others who are interested and i cannot wait to wear this once the weather gets cold and i’m ready to tuck my natural hair away. But nice natural looking wig. Great buy, great price, great delivery. I have bought this wig twice and it’s perfect. Nice natural colour and good cut. Just have to adjust the front to suit your face. Will definitely buy again for when i want a natural, nice style. Plus quick and reliable delivery. Ordered the same day and received it at a good time. Went well with my outfit last night.

Photo by geocacher lagosiIf you aren’t sure why this week’s Geocache of the Week is Star Wars themed, I’ll explain. This Saturday, May 4, is a special holiday for Star Wars fans. “May the Fourth” sounds similar to “May the Force” which is part of the famous line, “May the Force be with you.” Basically, it’s just a day for Star Wars fans to boast about why Star Wars is better than Star Trek, remember the epic saga of the original trilogy, try to forget the prequel trilogy and emphatically declare who shot first (FYI: it was Han).Another view of Mos Eisley. Photo by geocacher Kitou&Laulo44Since time when Mos Eisley was a bustling spaceport filled with smugglers, villains droids, Jedi and everyone’s favorite alien band, Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes, things have calmed down quite a bit. In fact, you’ll be hard-pressed to even find a smuggler that can do the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs. However, you will be able to explore the remains of this once lively town on Tatooine. Actually, the set used for many of the scenes set on the planet Tatooine were located in Tunisia, near the town of Tataouine. Coincidence? My intuition tells me no.A young Padawan near the geocache. Ever wonder where some of those strange post-production terms came from? Here are some origin stories you might not know. The industry is full of strange and confusing terms that make sense only to those who use them everyday. Have you ever wondered where all these strange terms came from? Let’s take a behind-the-scenes look at those weird post-production terms.KeyframesIn modern animation applications, a keyframe designates a value at a certain point in time. These modern day applications can interpret the data between keyframes so you don’t have to. This is called tweening, and it’s a recent advance in technology.Image from 3D MercuryIn the golden days of animation, every frame had to drawn by hand — but it wasn’t the job of lead animators to draw every frame. Instead, more experienced animators would draw only the ‘key’ frames in a scene and more inexperienced animators called Inbetweeners would create the drawings between the key frames. For more information regarding early animation techniques, I highly recommend checking out The Illusion of Life by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston.MasksIn post-production, masking is the process of designating a portion of the frame to not be affected by a given effect. In Photoshop you might use a mask to only blur out a background and not your subject. In After Effects, a mask can be used to help with compositing 3D elements. But the history of masks goes back much further than Photoshop. In fact, the term is derived from physical masks which literally block portions of your face.Masking has long been used in fine arts as a way to shield portions of a canvas from being affected. In fact, masking tape derived because it was used to mask out certain objects that weren’t meant to be painted. Today masking has evolved to become an essential part of a digital artists workflow and it all started with physical art.FeatheringIn modern software, feathering is essentially the smoothing out of edges. But why is it called feathering? It actually plays homage to a classic painting technique in which artists would use feathers to smooth out a transition between two colors. Feathering was also used by early photo editors as a way to smooth out ink. Even in modern home painting, some people use feather dusters as a way to smooth out paint color transitions. Feathering continues to be an essential process for editors and motion graphic designers alike.Matte/Matte PaintingIn film and photography, a matte is reference footage used to composite a foreground onto a background. While the history of mattes in film is quite dense, the term matte first originated from the early set extension process known as matte painting. These early matte paintings were scenes painted on glass using, you guessed it, matte paint.Over the years, mattes would evolve to become modern-day color keying, but digital matte painting continues to be a process used in contemporary films. For more info on the history of matte painting, check out this fantastic video created by John Hess of Filmmaker I.Q. RotoscopingThe original patent for a rotoscope, invented by Max FleischerRotoscoping is essentially cutting an object or subject out of a scene one frame at a time by hand. While the process is easier for modern filmmakers, it’s still very tedious. In the early days of film, an artist would use a rotoscope to project a frame onto glass. The artist would then go in and trace the subject by hand. While the process was traditionally used for cartoons, it has transitioned over time to be used mainly for VFX work.Know any other post-production origin stories? Share in the comments below.

We must use that.“Then Sunday is a big opportunity. Look, we’re a team, let’s go again. Let’s go, like that second half. Video: Dabo Swinney’s Passionate Halftime Speech To Clemson: “You Win With Class, You Lose With Class”
ESPNThings are going pretty well for Clemson down in Miami. The Tigers took a 42-0 lead into halftime, and have tacked on another three points so far in the third quarter. CU has already started benching some starters, including quarterback Deshaun Watson. Interesting, at the beginning of the break, Dabo Swinney kept his team out on the field for a few minutes before sending them to the locker room. Video shows that he was giving a passionate speech, in which he tells his team that Clemson “wins with class” and “loses with class.” We’re not sure if Swinney was just issuing a reminder with his team up big, or if something happened with the Tigers. There was a dust-up during pregame warmups between the two teams. Either way, it is definitely interesting. Quterbacks Stephen Collier (13) and J.T. Barrett (16) get work in at the first day of fall 2015 camp on Aug. 10 at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Credit: Giustino Bovenzi / Lantern reporterAll offseason, there has been no question that J.T. Barrett is Ohio State’s starting quarterback. The second-string spot, however, was a lot more in the air. That race might now be over, as redshirt sophomore Stephen Collier’s season is most likely over after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee. The news was first reported by Eleven Warriors.Collier had been in a competition for Barrett’s backup with redshirt freshman Joe Burrow throughout the spring, with plans on the race continuing through the fall. Collier came in for Barrett in the second half of OSU’s spring game on April 16, completing four of 11 passes for 154 yards and an interception. Fifty-five of those yards came from a long connection down the sideline to redshirt sophomore receiver Parris Campbell. With Collier’s knee injury, Burrow, who was 14-of-23 for 196 yards and three touchdowns in the spring game, will almost assuredly receive the second-string role. True freshman Dwayne Haskins Jr., who hasn’t yet arrived on campus, is likely the favorite to be the third-stringer.According to an OSU spokesman, Collier underwent successful surgery Wednesday morning and is expected to make a full recovery. The Buckeyes are set to get their season started on Sept. 3 with a game at Ohio Stadium against Bowling Green. Kickoff time is yet to be announced.
Sophomore defensive lineman Joey Bosa celebrates during a game against Maryland on Oct. 4 in College Park, Md. OSU won, 52-24.Credit: Mark Batke / Photo editorLife doesn’t stop for Ohio State football players when they get a week off, but it certainly slows down — especially for the upperclassmen.Coming off a 52-24 win against Maryland on Saturday, the Buckeyes have a week off before returning to the field at Ohio Stadium on Oct. 18. Coach Urban Meyer said he is taking the week to give some younger players heavier reps, while lightening the workload for experienced starters.“This (week) I am getting (freshman defensive lineman) Jalyn Holmes a million reps right now and some of the players have to get ready to go,” Meyer said Wednesday. “Some of them though — (senior defensive lineman Michael) Bennett, we have pulled off of him a little bit.”Along with Bennett, Meyer said sophomore defensive lineman Joey Bosa is getting fewer game-style reps in practice this week.Senior defensive lineman Steve Miller said the week off has been less intense than the Buckeyes’ first bye week of the season, and added it’s been a good chance to make sure some young players get the practice time they need.“It’s been more laid-back for this break,” Miller said Wednesday. “Just trying to get some of the young guys ready.”While the week off doesn’t mean the players can shut it down quite yet, the upcoming weekend without a game gives them a chance to get away. “We don’t practice on Sunday night because I want them to get out of here,” Meyer said. “(Freshman linebacker) Raekwon McMillan I know is going home to see his mom. He has earned that right to go do that.”McMillan played his high school football in Hinesville, Ga.But if players choose not to head home, Meyer said he wants them to keep football on their mind.“It is our second weekend (off). Some guys aren’t (going home) so maybe they will be over to coaches’ houses on Saturday and we are going to finalize plans,” he said. “I want them somewhere, if they are not going home, I want them around a coach.”Miller said he’ll likely be on the list of players who don’t have to spend their weekend with one of the OSU coaches.“I’m gonna probably go home, probably see my family and rest up,” Miller, a Canton, Ohio, native, said.Even though he gets a chance to spend some extra time with his family, Miller said the bye week doesn’t necessarily come at a good time for the Buckeyes.“It’s been strange, because it’s real early,” he said. “And we really aren’t that banged up yet, so it really (isn’t) that bad to be taking a break.”OSU’s first bye week came after a 66-0 win against Kent State in its third game of the season. That win shifted the team’s momentum after a 35-21 loss to Virginia Tech the week before. Coming out of that week off, the Buckeyes’ offense posted 710 yards against Cincinnati before routing the Terrapins for a third consecutive win.Meyer said that first week off “came at the right time,” but added he doesn’t have the same feelings this time around.“You could see we played pretty well afterwards,” he said. “This one, I don’t know. All I know is it remains to be seen. It is uncomfortable to be honest with you.”Meyer said he has looked at past years, and there hasn’t been a time one of his teams has had two bye weeks so early in the season. While his coach isn’t quite excited to be taking a break, junior offensive lineman Jacoby Boren said it hasn’t been all negative. Boren said he and others on the team have been fighting through minor injuries, so a week off can help them get healthy.“I think it’s working right now, and we’ll see how everything else works out,” he said. After the week off, the Buckeyes are scheduled to face Rutgers on Oct. 18 at Ohio Stadium to cap off homecoming week. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
