Man United fan starts GoFundMe page to try and get Jose Mourinho sacked

first_img Some Man United fans do not want Jose Mourinho as their manager 3 3 Mourinho has been desperate for new signings this summer An angry Manchester United supporter has started a GoFundMe page to try and get Jose Mourinho sacked. Colombia fans were angry with the result against England center_img 3 However, it appears that view is not shared by the majority – as the page is still yet to receive any donations! The Man United fan’s crowdfunding page follows a story from earlier in the summer, which saw distraught Colombians start a petition to have their World Cup last-16 clash against England REPLAYED after they exited the competition in a penalty shoot-out.Over 300,000 upset Colombia fans pledged their signature to the page, which pleaded FIFA to right the wrongs supposedly made by American referee Mark Geiger. They obviously took no notice, and England eventually progressed to the semi-finals – the furthest the Three Lions have gone in a World Cup since 1990. With the summer transfer window about to close and no new signings on their way to Old Trafford, a frustrated fan has called on his fellow Red Devils faithful to help kick ‘The Special One’ out of their club.Recent reports claimed it would cost the club £12million to axe Mourinho as boss this summer. And a United fan has set up a page to help raise that staggering sum to ensure a change of leadership at Old Trafford.See the GoFundMe page set up to get Jose Mourinho sacked HERE.The unnamed supporter writes on the page: “Like many other Manchester United fans I am rapidly entering depression and it’s all down to one man – Mr Jose Mario dos Santos Mourinho Félix.“Let’s raise the funds necessary to get him sacked so all United fans can feel true happiness one more time.”Mourinho has made no secret of his frustration during the summer, leading to speculative reports he could leave. He has overseen a disappointing pre-season campaign, which saw United travel without a host of their top players, and he has not been backed as he had hoped in the summer market, having managed to bring in only three new signings. Some fans have had enough of the Portuguese’s constant moaning and negatively, and believe he is not the right man to lead the club forward.last_img read more
