However, he has previously asserted that he was born in Georgia. 21 Savage has been arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Atlanta, according to a report from WSB-TV Atlanta. The Atlanta-based rapper, born Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph. According to breaking reports, an ICE spokesperson noted that “Mr. Abraham-Joseph was taken into ICE custody as he is unlawfully present in the U.S. and also a convicted felon. Mr. Abraham-Joseph initially entered the U.S. legally in July 2005, but subsequently failed to depart under the terms of his nonimmigrant visa.”last_img read more

The recipients were Ms. Caryl Mitchel a mother of three (3), from Morne Prosper, who as a result of diabetic complications had to have her left leg amputated from below the knee in December of 2011. Ms. Mitchel suffered from pregnancy-induced diabetes since the 80’s. Prior to losing her leg she was involved in agriculture where she planted and sold vegetables at the market. Lion President Diana Angol , Anthea Carette & Ms SeamanMs. Mitchel said that ever since her surgery she has been using crutches and that she is very grateful to the Dominica Lions Club for providing her with this wheelchair, as it will make getting around a much easier process and as such she will be able to start attending church again. The second recipient was 26-year-old Ms. Anthea Carrette from the northern village of Capuchin. Anthea, a cheerful girl, was physically disabled from birth. Her Mother, Ms Seaman, also thanked the Club for this wonderful donation and expressed their delight in receiving the chair since it will allow the family to take her around and outdoors more easily.President Diana said that the Dominica Lions were indeed happy to be able to donate the chairs to the two individuals as this will significantly enhance their mobility, thus adding more comfort to their lives and that the Club is committed to ensuring that the needs of the less fortunate are met as best as they could. She expressed thanks to the LeBlanc Foundation Inc. for making this presentation possible and also to all their sponsors and partners whose generous donations and support has made her year as president and all the projects and activities of the Dominica Lions Club a success.
