As with DirecTV NOW, Hulu Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV, PlayStation Vue provides subscribers with access to live television channels over the Internet. The service features some benefits over traditional cable and satellite, including the lack of a contract, cable/satellite box, and the ability to watch on mobile devices.Until now, users had to watch the service using the PS Vue app, but that has changed. Apple device owners have the option of watching PS Vue content directly within the TV app, which includes something like a content guide that’ll support the platform. This is a big change for Apple’s TV app, which previously only supported apps that belonged to each individual content provider, such as CBS. PS Vue, as with cable, brings live content from a bunch of different networks, all within the same platform.
