Mar Vista Avenue.English was involved in a car jacking in 2012. In 2013 he had a physical altercation with fellow gang members in a local park one week before he was killed.Two years later, Russell was shot multiple times in the rear parking lot of a barbershop located in the 1700 block of East Washington Boulevard. The suspects fled the scene in a grey four-door 2015 Dodge Charger.
